International Women's Day

"Death was the glass; death was between us, coming to the woman first, hundreds of years ago, leaving the house, sealing all the windows…"



To mark International Women's Day today, I'm sharing a golden ghost story called The Haunted House by an author you might not associate with horror or ghost stories. It was first published in 1921, and again shortly after Virginia Wolf's death in 1944.
