Even when she's writing about the dark or gruesome, she has a poetic style and captivates readers with her ability to create chilling atmospheres and capture the dark intricacies of human nature. She is an affiliate member of the Horror Writers Association and the Society of Authors.

Louise began her writing career by self-publishing her first novel, Distorted Days, before gaining recognition for her distinctive voice in psychological suspense and gothic horror.

At university, she studied literature and later, as a postgraduate student, psychology and business. For the majority of her career, she has taught English in secondary schools and worked in recruitment and business development. Louise grew up in Cheshire, England, and now lives in Shropshire with her husband, daughter, bouncy dog, and sleepy cat.
